Help Identifying Vintage Bianchi – Possibly Selvino from Early 1950s

Retro Newbie
Hello everyone,

I’m looking for help identifying my vintage Bianchi bicycle. I believe it could be a Bianchi Selvino, possibly from the early 1950s. I’m based in Morocco and recently acquired the bike, which appears to be mostly original.

Here are some details:

Color: Dark green (not the usual Bianchi celeste)

Frame size: Approximately 56 cm

Shifters: Downtube friction shifters

Rear hub: Marked “FB 51”

Internal routing for rear brake and gear cables

Integrated headset on the head tube

Dynamo-powered lights

Saddle: Mondial (looks original)

Tires: 32-622

I’ve attached photos for reference. I’m especially interested in knowing:

The exact year or range of years it might have been made

Whether this really is a Selvino model

Any insights on the originality of the parts

Recommendations for restoration (tires, lights, etc.)

Thanks in advance for any help!
