Hello everyone, my first post here Got an old Alpinestars Cro-Mega LX tucked away up in the attic that I haven't even seen for years never mind ridden Got a new mountain bike now but it seems a shame to just leave my old retro one sat not even seeing the light of day so was thinking about selling it on to someone who could hopefully restore it to its former glory like it deserves. I haven't got any pics of it at the mo but it's in the white & red/pink colour scheme, just wondering if you think it would be worth selling it on at the mo or should I just keep it for a few more years in the loft?? :?

Hi mate. It will be worth something but may well be worth more in the future. If you want a valuation, there's a dedicated thread for that. Can't post a link as i'm on my phone at the minute.

Sounds like a 1991 Cro Mega LX from the colours you describe. It would be great to see some pictures of it as there are plenty of Alpinestars fans on here.

However I doubt it will make you a fortune either now or in the future, so perhaps the best suggestion is to get it down from the loft and rediscover the fun of riding old bikes.

I''m a pretty big Alpinestars fan and collector. Just spotted it in the sale section, looks very nice indeed, and I for one would be keen on it for my collection :roll: :roll: :roll:

Hi Steve, thanks for the kind words matey. As you can see I'm new to this forum and have just had my post with the ebay link in it removed, I'm guessing this is against the rules or someting is it?? :? Is it just in the "For Sale" forum where it's not allowed or the whole site do you know?-is it worth me posting the link again in this forum or would that just get pulled aswell?
