Hello, and Bike ID

Hi, I'm Tom. I've had this bike since forever, but only just started riding it again regularly.

It's been added to so much that I can't even remember what it was any more, I know its a carrera frame 19", pretty light and started the build around 1998-2000.
I was working at halfords at the time

I have a feeling its a banshee or vulcan.

Any ideas?
