Headset help!

I'm in need of a new headset for a 1989/90 Explosif (pictures coming soon!!). Other than the stem which is a Flexstem and the seat post which I've just had to cut out, everything is original. Does anyone know what the original headset was or better still where to get one? If not, can anyone suggest a sexy old school alternative? Cheers, Craig

Sorry not much help. except i think the headset was 'Joe Murrey'impact brand which was kona own brand. Didn't think it came with a flex stem? thought it was a regid 'joe murrey'stem. maybe wrong

have a nos 1" threaded, kona impact headset and mavic 1" threaded headsets if ya need one.

The Impact one would be great unless you think that the mavic might be a better bet. How much do you want for them? I'm in the same place as you - London everywhere!
