No roller stem. The cockpit was all non original. I am guessing it happened when the brakes where changed to V-brakes. They are nice ones M739'sAnyway....surely your marin has a roller stem?
DM'dI have black Marin Rockstar fork available from a 1994 Marin Team Issue 17.5” frame and I could be persuaded to part with this item.
Thanks for the info. I weighed the now destroyed forks and they come in at 775g... but maybe that's because of the extra reaming they receivedSave yourself some grief and buy these, I mean, insist the bike shop do...

Those rockstar come with a 750g gimmick. The ebay ones are '93 and around 920g.
Typically Marin forks came in 4 sizes for mass production purposes.
134mm for 13" 15.5 etc...
153 for 17.5, etc..
183 for 19" +
205 for big daddy sizes.
