I figure I so cannot be the only one who owns and has "guest bikes" for friends to ride....
Typically they are for my female friends and so I equip them with proper woman's saddles.
Current "guest bikes" list includes:
2003 Trek 4900 WSD (women specific frame - 16") - highly modified - XTR V-brakes, Bomber folks, etc - I call her "The Valkyrie"
1999 Gary Fisher Joshua X1 (medium) - for easy/intro off road work
1994 Diamond Back Axis (15.5" frame) - Full XT, solid factory matching fork. - set up mostly for city/paved trails/light gravel
1994 Stumpjumper FS (18" frame and matching Future Shock fork) - no idea what I am doing with it yet.
I have extra saddles to swap between men and women because comfort counts and making it easy for friends to get into the sport counts eh.
I also have a few extra older helmets in various sizes as well as gloves for friends to use.
Photos to come.
I also have a 1991 Schwinn Impact Pro (20") for my taller male friends.
So, what do you have for friends to ride?
