GT Pantera SS (for now)

My new project arrived this morning from Charlieboy28

There was some discussion as to what year it is, V brake only, '97 seems right though, just about retro

When I first saw the for sale ad I immediately pictured it as a single speed. So for now i've ditched the random alu frame I was using for SS duties and put this together.
I was going to put M600 brakes on as most likely that's what it would have been when new, I found the levers but not the V's :roll: so for now it has some newer shimano V's (guessing they were quite cheap one's but they work)
Everything else is not really planned, just what I had to hand from my former SS or on the parts shelves.
Sorry if it offends anyone, i'm on a tight budget

Need to find a nicer fork and I have a black Kore stem somewhere :?
And yes I need to fettle the brakes, they're lopsided at the mo

blimey thats fast work, i agree with the forks needing changing, she didnt look that nice when i built her up how come :? :?

and she is crying out for some Kore parts too

As I said I have a black Kore stem, will have to find a matching seat post and fork wise, I don't want to go the bouncy option so will need to find something :?
