Frame identify

Does anyone know what kind of frame this is? The top tube, down tube, and seat tube are partially made of aluminum. There are also diamond embossings on some of the lugs. I will rebuild this frame.

This must be from a smaller manufacturer. Can’t recall other main MTB brands doing such type of frames.

Was about to say that too… but I can’t recall such an aluminum bonded frame from their catalogues.

Yes, the seller told me that this is a diamond back frame, but I didn't find a catalog and DB series for this frame, it's more similar to the M-Trex TI 1000 but the M-Trex doesn't have embossing and rear brake stoppers.

isn't this the Claud Butler Titanius frame (only 3 main tubes Titanium) also sold back in time from Praktiker hardware store chain in Germany or from Hawk and Minerva?

actually, that is the similar frame as sold by Claud Butler, Hawk and Praktiker in Germany,


The three main tubes are titanium, pressed to luggs, the rest is steel.
Some had issues, and don't stick together well any longer.

Well, I'm bored, so why not?

Actually, I've been meaning to do this for some time now, ever since @IHateRain donated most of the correct running gear from his Titanius over in Germany to the cause.
So, my German Titanius F41 00557 (which had a short life as a gravel bike, see here; ) is going to get dressed up in all the STX kit from (I'm assuming scrapped?) F41 00648

It's not just for the sake of it though, oh no, it's going to spend it's days in my basement strapped to my turbo trainer, destined to see thousands (maybe hundreds) of digital miles on Zwift!
