im with enid here, always the vulnerable being attacked and its no shock to hear about the type of people that did this. theyre known as chavs, i am shocked to learn that it is quite specific to just england though, i thought it was like this all the way through football. apart from probably a few cases/teams the majority arent violent, the way its comes across in england is quite the opposite, its a shame as it makes me hate it even more when infacet it doesnt need to be this way :? :? :?

Not specific to england... here we have one "firm" for the hockey-team and one for the football-team. But I've never really heard of random violence like this. They usually settle it with other so-called fans. Sometimes even before youth-games  Ofc they are inspired by brits..

Every country has their "chavs" tbh. Passed three guys on my way home from the pubs one night last year.. Ended with a visit to the emergency for me. Just some cuts and bruises though... They played the old "whatcha-lookin-at"-routine. That + my drunken reply meant close-contact with the curb. Pointless sh*t..

Works both ways tbh. A good friend of mine visited Poland a few years ago.

He was walking home from a night out and he and a friend were set upon by 5 guys with steel bars and knives. He is the most meek, mild mannered man you'd ever meet, it was a random hate crime.

He was in hospital in Poland for 8 weeks with a broken leg, arm, jaw and stomach wound. Temporarily blinded in one eye and severe head trauma.

The police did nothing. He was told that Polish people do not like the British over something that happened during the war but I forget what.

He is happily recovered now and competing in triathlon.

This is great  They are quick enough to come here when they can get something for free are they not :?: They can forget the war when they feel like it it seems :?:

You get twats in all societies, why tar a whole nation with the same brush? The same way we don't want to be known as a country of drunken football hooligans, i'm sure the Polish don't want to be known as Brit bashers because of a few idiots.

Modern life may be rubbish but it's better than the witch burning days!

Marin Man, if you want to vent your spleen about other nationalities then I believe the Daily Fail has a forum. Don't be posting stuff like this up again then attempt to drive it into BNP territory.

Let's not forget this a bike forum at the end of the day.
