Fat Chance Shock a Billy project

Not yet, need to get a few bits sold and then strip it down. Been deciding on which brakes to put on it. Settled on Speed controllers over some Grafton Maglites I also have but finding the speed controller/ Scott brake pad combo a bit of a pain

Thanks guys. I'll update this once the bare frames back from paint then hopefully it'll be any easy rebuild ready for some spring action.

Well it's still not painted but with the two turquoise Ringle hubs now found, and the fact I needed the black ODI grips for my Orange Prestige project I thought I should swap some bits over.

Grips changed to NOS ODI mushrooms in fluoro green, black SL's to yellow and Onza Porcupines to green Wildgrippers.

Hope you like it :)

I now have both hubs. The rear is NOS, just trying to find out if it's for 7 or 8 speed screw on size. Sold to me as 7 but it looks like there would be room for an 8.

The front is slightly darker but not as dark as the picture makes it look. It's not been easy or cheap getting these so unless anyone has the same colours but the other way around and wants a swap, they'll be staying.

Just waiting on some grey Campagnolo Stheno rims to arrive now.

Ready to build the wheels. I now have a pair of lovely Campagnolo Stheno rims, they are black and not grey as thought but should be great for this build.

After finding out the rear hub is actually capable of taking 8 speed, sold to me as a 7 speed, I thought I best check it'd fit between the dropouts without rubbing. It's perfect. Now I just need to sell the 2 seven speed screw on ones I bought!

Stupidly I don't have the splined tool to remove it, it's not quite the same as the Shimano/ Sram type.

Anyway here's a pic:

I will actually get this painted as planned at some point ;)

Wheels are built :)

A lovely blue Ringle seatpost and green Ringle stem have come up for sale. I really like to post and stem I have on this currently. Am I wrong to keep them or should I go Ringle ano? Please help me decide.
