I seem to have accumulated shed loads of RaceFace black rings but thought silver Pace would be good for this with the blue crank arms.
I just hope the rings actually arrive. Seller on eBay gave a MyHermes delivery date of Monday or Tuesday gone!
The tracking number isn't working on the website, however the seller has lots of good feedback and answered previously questions promptly so hoping there's just a delay for some reason. Paid £45 for 3 very good condition rings.
Right more progress, the Cook Bros E cranks are now fitted with 2 out of 3 of the Pace rings that went AWOL for a while, problem is I didn't realise the E cranks need a weenie 58 BCD inner so that's a NOS Shimano one for now.
Unsure on the colour of the cranks being dark blue, they do match the Renthal bar quite well but looking at buying some earlier Toplines with a silver arm and black spider. What does everyone think? I already have some of these on my Merlin so can swap these over to get an idea.
Still waiting on the longer BB to arrive, went for a new neco branded one to get the bike up and running, £7.95 posted!
Couple of pics with cranks.
Almost forgot, bought some Mitchellin Wildgrippers yesterday from the bay for a bargain £30 posted, thought they would go great once repainted.

Right, bikes built in it's first guise but may get some turquoise anodised Toplines / Graftons courtesy of Rampage. Reason being I prefer the simpler shape, the colour will suit better I think with the other bits, and these E cranks have a 58 bcd granny ring which doesn't suit the full set of Pace rings I just bought.
I took it out for a half day ride with some work colleagues today and I must say it's one of the best retro full sussers I have owned. This is a keeper
Unfortunately in my haste to get the Filthy Fat plus my modern 29er that someone borrowed washed, I forgot to take the after picks!
I was amazed at how well the Onza Porcs worked in mud.
