You guys have taken it upon yourselves to be the self appointed arbiters of FS prces. You dont know that much about historical FAT sale prices eg and are too lazy to do some research. You just believe its ok to dump on FS threads and deter people from listing their P&Js because they dont want the drama. Shame really. It wasnt like this 5yrs ago when high end stuff was listed and sold regularly with good karma.

Well, im glad the Private Messages you have received make you and your points feel vindicated. Perhaps those sending you private messages should be encouraged to post on the thread, it might add weight to the discussion then....

No weight needing to be added to the discussion. Its clear you guys will carry on regardless trashing FS ads, deterring people from listing high end rigs and the site and community will gradually and silently wither on the vine.

I shall comment how I see fit, as already mentioned, its not a for sale thread, its "MARKETPLACE", its "EBAY", its a "Discussion FORUM", its not a dictatorship, its NOT a Fascist State, we live in a democracy, this is retrobike, perhaps you should promote on the FAT website if you haven't already, Although im sure with the amount of FAT fans on a Fat website, the fact it hasn't been snapped up already kinda proves the point on the price, dont you.....?

Failing that, list it with a sensible start price as previously suggested and let the market decide.

Im sure folk can make there own mind up without forced propaganda from you.

Its quite easy to do you know, its not Rocket Science.

You have as weak an understanding of politics as you do iconic frame values. Carry on trolling, intimidating and putting people off using FS/Marketplace mate.

The last white NOS 10th Anni ( These things are crazy rare ) sold for £2750 + shipping + ~ 10% State Import Fees to the US only a few years ago. - FACT This compares very reasonably with £3440 which is less than £3K after ebay sellers fees. It was a quick private sale as required by the seller for whatever reason. Shame things end up like this but its certainly improved the thread click through rate

Its just a shame, you have to stoop to the level of insults you have throughout the thread, poor form and all because we dont see it the same way as you.

I fear you have answered your own question, and your market analysis must be a little off, for if it was accurate, it would have sold to a FAT FAN without even the need for ebay……...PMSL.

Its not my for sale item on ebay but most probably a known member on here. As i said the critique of peoples pricing deters people from posting FS ads on here directly or links to them in Marketplace. Thats a fairly recent thing too. It used to be a great outlet for sales on here but we all know the market for big ticket items is way down atm anyway.

Its just a shame, you have to stoop to the level of insults you have throughout the thread, poor form and all because we dont see it the same way as you.

Touche.....you didnt bother to research the valuation or read my notes in detail when I explained why bikes like this are worth a premium. Its a case of what YOU and your ILK decide is worth slamming pricewise, as you see fit. You also didnt link to any pre ownership thread on your supposed owned FATs or pics. Doubt you have ever ridden one. You missed out.

My market analysis is based on facts mate which I can back up as I was offered the NOS white m/l 10th Anni myself a few years ago but sadly didnt have the funds at the time due to a builders f-up. The truth is YOUR strategy to scupper and devalue residuals of a premium brand works very well. Thats why you do it and will keep doing it I guess. Thats how it is here sadly.

Are they (mankind) all wrong .......or Simply keeping their powder dry so they can put a cheeky little last minute bid in?

Who knows - guess the next 40 mins will answer that one - as has been said “the market will decide” and we’ll see a bidding war break out with investors looking to make a long term investment
