I think Theres more than just one, FAT fan out there, im sure it will find a home, and im sure if the seller started with a sensible opening bid, the bids would be rolling by now, and perhaps even already sold.
You've answered our point perfectly.

And im sure all of the above is why we are here.
I too would love to see a PROFIT from my collection, it would make me feel warm and fuzzy, but if i was doing, what i have done since the age of 14 for profit, i wouldn't be here, its a fools errand.
Whats more ridiculous than the start price of this frame, is the sheer un-objective opinion being forced down others throats.
Which is fairplay, like i said, we all have our LOVEs, but some of us can be a little more Objective than others.
I agree with most of this and emotions are what drive us. For me I dig a lot of the whacky creativity around FAT as well as the ride mostly and class leading construction of their finest examples.
£3440 is fair imo for a NOS limited edition iconic frame which is 28yrs old. NOS Chehalis Kleins have sold for similar sums or more as a comparator and not many have moaned about that iirc. Potential buyers may have been put off by this thread but they do say there is no such thing as bad publicity, so lets see![]()
