From the cycaling world - Josie Dew / Lance A / Missy Giove

From the tri world - Scott Tinley/Dave Scott

What was Dave Scott like? I had a copy of his book once. Came across as a focused sort of guy. I wonder what triathletes do when they retire?

Scott Tinley is teaching a creative writing course, (more info on his web site). No idea what the other Daves and Scotts are upto but Kenny Souza is riding RAMM against Tinker Jurez.

Now then, here's another....

Way back when, Scary Spice bought a bike from me! For her husband. Who two or three days later was her ex-husband and the bike was on the fromt page of the Currant Bun!

Oh, and David "Kid" Jensen bought some padded Endura pants from me too!

Regularly bumped into David Millar in the corner shop - real shock first time. Nick Craig & Rob Hayles are also local. Rode up Peep o Day with Brad Wiggins (when he lived in Chapel) - he was riding round with his olympic medal on (you just would wouldn't you!) I was going to work. Kept up, and did some time on the front.

I've met Chris Boardman and Graeme Obree (not at the same time).

Sold a bike to Patsy Palmer (Bianca from Eastenders) for her kid. Also sell bikes to, and do regular servicing for, Barry McGuigan.

Also been on a ride with Oli Beckingsale at Cannock Chase recently. He's a really friendly guy and actually waited for me to catch up to him.
