Just wondered who has been met in the cycling world?

I have had the pleasure of meeting:

Chris Boardman - at the Tour de France, top bloke, so friendly, so much time for me. Great chap 8)

Nick Craig - when he rode for DBR, as above, top chap

Dave 'Pee Wee' Hemming and Clive 'Apollo' Gosling - at a training camp, both were a right laugh.

Zak Carr - was a personal friend of mine BITD, RIP mate

I was wondering if I accidentally met 'someone' without knowing who they were when I was at Cannock yesterday when he talked about handing over the baton to Gary Foord at Sleepless in the Saddle last year :?

Crikey, where to start?

Ditto for Nick Craig, top chap!

A few others - Joe Breeze, Tom Ritchey, Tomac, Toby Henderson, Sean Kelly, Missy, JMC, Peaty, Nico Vouilloz, Anne-Caro Chausson, Greg LeMond, Francois Gachet, Mike Edwards (Cyclist, and a famous musician!), Mike Burrows, Alex Moulton, the list goes on and on....

Wow, thats some list!
Ditto for Mike Burrows, of designing the Lotus bike fame, and when I used to live in Norfolk he was about 10 miles from me and used to ride our club TT's.  He has some AWESOME bikes  8)

I once met Tim Brooke-Taylor from the goodies. You remember he was good riding buddies with Graham Garden and Bill Oddy!

Goody goody yum yum!

Pickle, I spent many years in the bike industry, got to swan around a lot!

Missed out Max Commencal from the list. Nice chap, even if he did have a smelly dog! (Sorry I turned the job down, Max!)

Where to start? Loads but meeting with Stephen Roche at Le Tour was a highlight. Anyone remember his Paris-Roubaix winning ride?

Oh and of course Tomac at a couple of Grundig events 8)

(I won't mention asking Jez Avery to teach me how to do a Switzerland Squeaker)
