Well I do have a Race Face on the Kona I could nick but then that leaves the Kona with nothing.... :facepalm:
Not bothered about original, no, I don't like XT V brakes so they'll be going in favour of some LX M600's, and I've a short cage XTR mech and I want to run a single ring up front so....
It'll be a real mish mash

Why thank you. You wouldn't believe it cost me £400 pretty much as it stands!
I've been very fortunate and picked up some lovely parts and bikes since getting into RB's but this is my 'Go To' bike. It just makes me smile.
I even have to pull myself away from it when heading somewhere I know I'll need the travel and braking ability of my modern full sus carbon 29er

That's a bargain Tim, have to admit I'm going to be as tight fisted as hell with this build, it's more fun anyway that way but funds are always tight being self employed.... :facepalm:

Stop it, you're too kind, the Kona was all your fault in the first place!
I've got those bars you want though and probably some other tat....

Cheers JB, much appreciated, we'll try and meet up and do some dealing again.
Ten minutes with some Autosol mixed with T Cut produced quite good results on one side of the front triangle....also found the inevitable couple of small dings, but nothing to worry about.
