Eeuuww....no bar ends...

My Cannondale is now finished apart from decals and a few minor tweaks.....decided to build this without bar ends for a 'clean look'.

Took it out for its maiden voyage last night

First bike i've ridden in 17 years without bar ends and.....Eeuuww!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

Does take a lot of getting used to.

I tried on my Avalanche, but as this is my main riding bike I couldnt do it, and brought some stubbies for it :roll:

I took them off my RTS for the, as you say, 'Clean Look'. Looks good IMO, and as I ride this only every other month, I can live with it

I should add that the Cannondale is my 'roadie/hack' and will almost definitely never go offroad, but WILL get used daily I hope (just for a quick squirt up the road after work to unwind)......god damn I could never ride offroad without bar ends

Trouble is, out on the open road, banging in mile after mile my hands get bored and uncomfortable :cry: :cry:

What about a slick bar end set up like USE for retro or I think KCNC, Tune and SRP have very neat modern ones. SHouldn't ruin the aesthetics too much.

Same here. I may fit them and put spikes on the ends. So i can kill a few pedestrians that don't look when crossing the road. :evil: Hit anther one last night. Just stepped out in front of me. didn't look. Lucky i was not a motobike for him. All he did was smile. Lucky i didn't come off this time. Nice sharp bar ends
