New GX it is then as period never came into this build and i'd only seen this as being a bike to please the rider who just so happens is building it so come on then show me this Luverly " Pink " Sharkfin ..

Cool mate but i thought you'd of fitted it but seriously i hope it's going to stay stuck when you fit it to the Zaskar as i got one years ago for my Trekker which stayed on the chainstay for 2 days then came off on my way to work on the 3rd day and i never did find it so fingers crossed you'll have better luck then i did ..

I have seen some since i lost mine with the holes and small zip ties so your idea seems the way to go mate ..

Will try it. Only bit of bling added today was a fluero orange bottle cage. Might try and ride it Thursday...

A fluero orange bottle cage sounds good to me mate and if you ride it thursday i'll bet you'll get quite a few looks off folk which will be awesome as theirs to many plain looking machines out there these days and i bet you come back grining after your ride ..

Oops! , how in the world did you manage to destroy the mech? as their not that weak or so i thought :shock: ..

Operator error unfortunately - wasnt shifting right after I switch rear mechs (xt for the P7), didnt have time to alter before work so kept in a low gear, forgot when I rode home and switched into highest gear for final hill climb... crunched rear mech into spokes and mangled it. Think I realised in time to save the spokes so not as bad as could have been, but an excuse to sort the zaksar at least!
