Do modern tyres/grips etc ruin a retrobike?

Anyone know of decent, modern tyres with minimal logos?
Some of the Panaracer Fire XC Pro's have a small coloured label, others shout their brand and model very loudly indeed. Also some Kenda Nervagal's (sp?) are also pretty discreet, with dark blue print.

Re:

I run ground controls on both bikes and love em , fit n forget and use all year round , seem happy hooning down wet twisty tarmac at 35+ and slogging through bogs , I run tubeless on both and at about 20>28 psi, rear on the Soul's getting a bit tired now (2 years heavy riding) and will be getting another the same , don't get sworks ones though as sidewalls and too light and fall apart .

and see pic a bit down if you want to see what they look like on a Lava Dome

Specialized tyres are as good as it gets for the money. I'm currently using Ground Control up front, The Captain out back. Saved more then a pound in weight compared to the old wire Continentals.

Nice tip with those Big Mountain tyres!

Enjoyed Lance Armstrong's 'how to fix a flat' video – may be he could show me how to score a line too  Oh Lance, it's come to 'ligging' in the LBS now...
