DNA Titanium double your money

see the real reason for the gripe is im expecting a relatively large tax rebate which should have been here weeks/months ago, I want a ti bike, to be more specific i wanted that Ti bike, the fecking tax people feckers have now told me i can expect to wait until may

will possibley contact the shoosh kebab at that point to make him a reasonable offer

I think that the prices for certain things are going down. Take for example a Shimano XT M737 8 speed cassette (only because I'm selling one ;) ):

Now, a couple of years ago when I first registered on this forum, a minty example of this cassette would have had people snapping my arm off if I'd asked £45 for it. I know this, because I had one for sale back then and sold it for £45 within a day.

Fast forward to today, and I have another one, in exactly the same (if not better) condition, and I'm asking less for it, and I've had no interest.

The same goes for M737 rear mechs. I've sold a few of these and have noticed the price steadily declining.

On the other hand, STX and LX kit seems to be holding it's value, if not increasing...

You could always make me a reasonable offer on mine ;)

The only way I would feel daft about what I paid for something is if it was way over the top.

If I pay near the market price, then I couldn't care what the seller paid for it, or how soon before I bought it.

I never ask what someone paid for an item as part of a negotiation, (unless it is from someone I know), it is beholden on me to research what it is worth.

It is exactly the same as bread in Morrisons in many respects.

You could look at it as having been on 'sale' at the cheaper price, and now returned to RRP. Ultimately you decide whether to purchase at the RRP or look elsewhere.
