disc mounts on to a retro frame? am i out of order?

Come back, we are talking here purely hypothetically and about a very specific bike that could be fitted with disc brakes under very narrowly defined circumstances...
Its because @Guinessisgoodforyou is toying with the thought of putting discs on the old Claud Butler he has just picked up ;)

I'm just going to hide somewhere deep and safe before he reads that 🤣

...700x 35 wheels/tyres fit in the rear of the frame, but not in the F7 fork, but they do fit in the RC31 fork, also, so do 650b x47, so that got me thinking, the F7 fork that came with the most recently bought P7 can get painted to match the other one as it's already at the painter which can be built hipster style and the newer one i'm thinking strip all the unneeded cable mounts/canti bosses off and have disc mount added as the RC31 has disc mounts at which point i can decide how i want to build it, leaning towards a gravel style build

so how disgusting of an idea is this?
Not disgusting at all.
You are putting a bicycle back on the road/gravel/mother earth to roam again. Nothing wrong with that.
👍

We'll all be dust on a scorched planet at some point, and the bikes with it, so do whatever you like in my book. Better than it languishing in a damp shed.
