Dent in steel seat tube. Intervention needed??

I just took the child seat of my ‘95 Explosif (yes, I know already!) to find the clamp plus child weight had caused a couple of dents in the seat tube.

See pics.

What are people’s thoughts? Ok to ride? Needs rolling with frame blocks? Wall art?

Cheers :)

Remove paint, weld and grind/sand into submission.
It'll be fine.

Edit; Maybe even drill a hole in stress points and weld back.
Just don't drill nilly willy as that could make it worse.

I'd run a suitable tight- fitting tube down the inside.
The dents will pop out.
Quite possibly invisible

I wouldn't drill or fill.

Just leave it alone would be better than aggressive intervention. The dents aren't anywhere stressed (now you've taken the frame bender off) and they aren't big enough to compromise the tube strength.

Seat tube is fairly low stressed relative to the rest of the frame, ride and enjoy… unless you find the sight of it offensive.

I wouldn't drill and fill either. I would...in this order....

A. Leave well alone and live with it ( or add sticker)
B. Try carefully pushing a tube in.
C. Leave it till it wants a paint and get it braze filled by a frame builder.
