It seems that pubs near me can be categorised into:
a) the expensive gastro pubs that are full of Porsche-driving tossers
b) the traditional ale houses that are populated by middle-aged men with beards who drink ales with names like "Randy Ferret" or "Pikey's Nibble"
c) trendy bars that are full of sweaty twenty-somethings who are pissed on tequila and Jaeger-bombs
Where do you meet easy-going, sane, thirty-something women who can talk about something other than "X Factor"? :?
