Car thread: TVR Tuscan

we've just had our honda DC5 delivered and its lovely - and its not slow either :D . its practical enough, got 4 seats, a huge boot as well, recaro interior, LSD etc, but looks pretty understated compared to a lot of things like the scoobies and evos. its got that nice rareness as well which you dont seem to get with much anymore!
on the other hand... buy a honda S800 with a hyabusa in it! :D

That Elise is really nice - and so is that wonderful GTR. How cool is that?

That Elise does look fantastic - how much did you sell it for? Love it with the OZ Superturismos - especially in dark grey. Very very sexy looking car.

Thanks Jez, I spent a long time looking for it. Its cost the first owner £37,000! as it was a Lotus Motorsport Ltd Edition specced to the owners choice. I sold it for £18,000

Good sites to look at are http://www.seloc.org/ http://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/index.php?act=home

Another shot....

We almost bought a Cerbera, which is 'allegedly' a 4-seater.

However, despite my almost begging wifey to say "Yes", we didn't

So....................... we bought a Jaguar XKR instead :D

It goes like stink, but is sadly an automatic & sounds far too refined (needs a louder, more raucous, system if we still have it when it needs replacing)

I have had a few drives of TVR's
When I was selling my Discovery & was debating what to buy (mid-life crisis anyone??), I test-drove a Chimera 400, & 450, plus a Griffith 450.

Beasties, the lot of them!! :D :D

I've also driven a Griff 500, & been in a Sagaris on trackdays (Bruntingthorpe)

We used to be a massive TVR family, They are brilliant cars and have there own little soles ... If your looking for perfection buy German or Jap but you cannot beat the sound and looks of a TVR

Try and talk to real owners for advice, Most people that have a pop about them have never even sat in one

Hamster, Keep me posted on the 3000M I used to hillclimb one and love them to bits!! 8)
