Canondale SuperV400 rear swingarm bearing

yup what ^ says
that should just unscrew from the bit at the other side

its an SVA btw

I haven't tried holding the other end, no... I will do so.

I got half a turn on it then it went tight again. Got the TX bit set in the car so if the hex gets mullered then I can beat a Spline of TX bit in there :) That'll sort the bugger out.

I'm sure we'll have it apart today.

So... closer inspection has revealed the swingarm bearings to be in fine shape, the play is the the shock end bushings.

A little bit of lathe work will see that restored to good as new.

Thanks for your help guys. No need to take it apart further.

So, further inspection revealed that we did have to take this assembly apart.

New 6903RS bearings are on order from our bearing supplier, but we need a new pivot.

Does the black 2 part pivot as shown on dr-cannondale.de fit and replace the 3 part pivot that we have? Can anyone confirm this?

Our 3 part pivot consists of two identical aluminium shoulder sleeves, tapped 1/2UNC with a short (50mm) length of threaded rod holding them together.
