Not always. My P7 came from Orange with Manitou forks (I would have preferred Pace though)

Assuming that the serial number A8912 means made by A-Pro in December of 1989, that makes it a 1990 Clockwork. I think the fork is a 1993 RC35AB. I think it's all original or at least close to it. It has mainly Deore bits, has cantilever brakes (with canti cable bits on the frame and under the stem). I think the Pace RC35 forks (non-working) are not original.
