Seeing the plaque on the bridge brings the reality of it straight to you. It looked very busy there today, I'm glad we could contemplate in peace yesterday. RIP mate.

Re:

Quite an emotional moment on the bridge Sunday, bought the events of a year ago flooding back, had ridden down with a mate to watch the air show....we stood on the crossing by the Sussex pad Pub for twenty minutes or so deciding if we going into the airfield or find a spot out side to view from, we were at the south end of the airfield as the horrific events unfolded in front of us, a vision that will stay with me forever. At the time we had no idea that so many had lost there lives and the one of those was Dlyan, my thought are with his family and friends and to Mike and Max who had been good friends with Dlyan long before I had known him.

There have been mentions in the news in the past few days of the 10 year anniversary of the Shoreham air crash (22/08/2015). I didn't know Dylan but remember it being reported on this site at the time that he was involved and feeling that it was tragic how it happened. The news stories made me think of him and his friends and family and I hope that you are all doing OK.
