My Kona SDL Score!

So, an absolute score for me!!!!

A NOS medium Kona Stab Dee Lux.

This hasn’t been built or out of a box in 25 odd years, everything is as from the factory.

Speaking to the seller Kona confirmed this is the last SDL ever made.

I have been incredibly lucky and appreciate the contact from the owner and his friend.

Now I will need to sell the small frame I have as that is no longer required, so will put it here first before going on eBay etc

Now, all I would like to do is find any NOS parts to build this bike up to its complete self.

If you have anything NOS for it please let me know. Especially the 1998 Monster T forks.

Anyone from other countries not wanting to post, let me know as I will know someone who will forward it to me that resides in your country.

I’ve put it away now but believe it’s 88 at the end. Like you say doubt it was built in 1993

Like yourself. Loved this frame. Saw this when I was working in a bike shop and too young to afford it so bought the stinky Dee lux.

At the moment I’ve only a few NOS items.

Mr Dirt Chain guide
Raceface DH cranks
Front 2.3 Tioga DH tyre
Raceface chain ring

So lots to source as of yet.

A guy was selling a medium stab Dee lux but he’s changed his mind as I was thinking about buying it. Would have a show frame and ones I can use.

They come up very rare so keep your eyes out

Thank you. Couldn’t believe my luck. Was someone on a fb page who reached out to his friend as he knew he had one sitting in the loft.
Snatched that off his hands before he changed his mind
