Calling all GT LTS 95/96 enthusiasts

I have just managed to get hold of a 1995 LTS 2 in new condition which is now my new build.
But I've noticed a number 7 stamped on the seat stay.



I don't remember ever seeing it on my old LTS i had years ago.
Does anyone know what this is and what it stands for?

P.S has anyone fitted maguras to a 95 modle?

I also have a 97 LTS2 it has the 7 stamped in the rear triangle as well, I have no idea of the significance if any

maybe a quality control stamp by the person who inspected the frame or even the welders id number(every company i work for i have a id number if anything brakes/fails in service they can check the quality assurance records to see if all was done to spec/weldprocedure etc)

That would make sense.
Good to know mine isnt just a odd one.
