Bike of The Month November 2025 "Amnesty Special" - now taking entries

We're having a repeat of the November 2022 competition this month. We're throwing a virtual bone to all those who feel that bikes should be eligible to be entered more than once (twice if you include special months), if they don't win.

To qualify this month your bike MUST have been entered previously, BUT it can't have won. The entry list is capped at 20 bikes. Other than that all the usual rules apply

Useful for the poll if you can structure your nomination as follows:

username's Year Manufacturer Model , e.g. @al's 1995 weird bouncy thing
Image(s) MAXIMUM OF 2
Finally please include a link to your machine in the relevant Reader's Bikes section. If you don't have an existing post now is the time to add one with as much detail as you like!

Nominations thread will run for the entire month of November. Entries submitted after November 30th will not be counted. The poll will go up shortly after the nominations close and will run for a week.

@Guinessisgoodforyou 1990 Carrera Quattro Pro E stay. Most people buy these and take off the XT. I put the XT back on. Seat post is not catalogue, nor is the stem and saddle. No build thread. No laughing at the back

Thought I’d make a thread of sorts for my Fuquay. It’s come a long way since finding it! Tomorrow is a year to the day of Greg’s passing so it seemed apt to show him some respect and acknowledge what a great bike builder he was. I now have some personal experience on one of his machines and I am not disappointed.

My Fuquay journey started about two years ago when I saw an ad for ‘four adult bikes’ on eBay. Collection only in Surrey/London border so not too far from me in south London and £40 the lot. My eagle eye spotted what looked like a Grafton or Topline chainset on a black mtb...
