Having spoken to pete who built these bike, i get the impression the geometry was much more 84 saracen atb, rather than late 80s racing. I think they sized them accordingly too, so compared with early 90s stuff, the frames will be bigger than you might expect for a shorter rider.
For comparison im 6'4" tall and mine is a 21". The top tube is only 540mm long! So 60mm short of a 20.5" marin..that still had a 150mm stem in 89!
So its actually far too small for me.!
The original stem on mine ( like the one for sale) had a 100 x 25o stem...so designed for a tiny reach, of somebody far shorter...or it would make a fab drop bar conversion!
