Re: 1989 Swallow Griffon - MBUK Test Bike... Update P9

Very neatly done.
I'd be tempted to flip it to try and get a slightly better cable angle.

Thanks - tried that but this seems to be the best I can do - cheeky ONZA chill pill came to my aid also:

Re:

We that took a bit longer than I planned to finish - work, family, hard to find parts, time, the usual.

Here's a few pics fully built up, will take it our for a ride this week and get some 'better' ones.

Work done:

➡️ Back to Swallow for repair & repaint.
➡️ NOS stem, bars, Grab-ons and SEDIS chain, clips and straps.
➡️ Gratuitous Purple anno bottle screws and bullseye jockey wheels (the originals were half missing and knackered)
➡️ NOS campag pearl whit cable set.
➡️ Specialised hardpack 1.5" tyres.
➡️ NOS Campag U-Brakes which came without pads and bolts, they were salvaged off of a rough set I stumbled across one day.
➡️ 1989stamped Turbo saddle

Not been the easiest build but worth it I think....

Well done Adrian, it does look good with the U brakes too...

Re: Re:

Thanks chaps - also thanks for the nagging to get it done!!

A fair few people chipped in ideas, pointed at and supplied parts along the way, you know who you are so thanks - that is what makes this site special.

It had to be "two U's" cool, there was no other way!
