BEST OF BRITISH......

Re:

Shame you don't bring your bikes to display at ICONOCLASSIC sinnerman, where they can be appreciated in person, and in a great setting with loads of other stunning bikes - rather than creating endless threads for them on the internet...

Re:

Was there any need for that...? Im sure without endless threads there would be NO retro bike, and therefore Icon would not be either.

Perhaps not the right way to encourage members to Drive the length of the country.

(Actually given you are the organiser/ambassador of the site and Iconoclassic I think this attitude is Shocking to say the least.) (and I thought the thread was for everyone to show the best of British of which my contribution pales in comparison to what is shown so far.)

JUST SAYING.

Re:

Great pics Sinnerman, I can't get to iconoclassic so without having a forum such as this - set up for & requesting pictures of British bikes I wouldn't get to see them.

Same here, being based in Portugal these days makes it tricky to go to events, so I'm very glad that people are willing to show their bikes here.

Re:

I completely agree that the pics need to be online - and online here at retrobike.
That is not my point.

May be it wold be good to see some new pics of sinnerman's bikes on here?

Instead, in every thread which he starts - under the guise of encouraging other forum members to post pics of their own bikes - he seems to use as an opportunity to again swamp with pics of his own bikes.

And they always seem to be the same pics of the same bikes, which gets a little tedious after a while I find, and maybe a little self-satisfyingly gratuitous.

Anyway, we can all muse, and no doubt I'll get a PM off him shortly telling me off...

Re:

Great thread, great bikes and best of all Great British

But given the latter I would love to also see them in person (fondle the merchandise) so to speak rather than admire them from afar,

To be honest Carl you do have a collect to die for, infact I'd go as far as to say I'd pay good iron just to visit so it goes without saying every man and his dog would love to see even a small selection in the wider setting that I-O-C has to offer

All the best

Nick

Are you sure of your facts...........? Or do you need to look at my post again Herr
commandant....?

Im sure one is of an on going thread that is no where near finished, one is a snapshot before a thread gets going at all... if ever...on quite a rare british bike, and the one above is of a bike that had a thread posted up late last nite, that I thought might just be a relevant bump to this thread with, in the hope we see some more NEW additions to the forum, and unearthing British Bikes long forgot.

Either way, Posts like yours, from a fella in your position, is hardly likely to encourage member to post, even new builds, you know like the ones you completely overlooked before hastily making your statement.

My point remains the Same.....,

Just Saying.

the joke is....

Some are here for the greater good, go back five years (or a little more) How much was posted on British bikes...?

If it was about showing off, I would happily take a van fill it with bikes, take time out of my 70 hour week and drive the fourteen hour round trip, just to big myself up for the day.

As for the PM mate, please don't flatter yourself, as mentioned was there any need for the comment at all.
