as some will no .i had to sell my bikes to pay a council tax bill i didnt even no i owed :evil: so im totaly bike less ..i was going to wait and buy something else in the summer. but a job is coming up in 2/3 wks or so and ive got nothing or no money to buy one . so im wondering if any body as a old mountain bike in the backs of there caves they no longer want..i dont care what it is of course i will pay postage ...now there is a few fellas on here that will stand me in good sted (i hope) and im not a sponging freeloader thanks in advance ps could anyone paste this onto the normal for sale section please

If you can fetch it you can have it, its an old racer Raleigh ace (80's) 5 speed. Have put flat bars on it and it has a slow puncture on the rear I cant find. Nowt special but its yours if you want.

thats the trouble i built my spare bike out of all my bits and i had to sell that as well to stop the feckin debt collecter what pissed me off the most was it was a 4yr old tax bill

What sort of size you after? mainly its bso's normally and any preferance as to what sort of bike?

If you don't mind doing a bit of work to get what remains of the seatpost out of the frame I have a tatty GT tequesta frame and can supply some bits and pieces to help you along the way can't promise a whole bike but will be a fair way towards one
