ANYONE WANT TO START A SMALL BUSINESS ?

Getting a licence for a tin box was the best thing I ever did. Only passed my test at the age of 30 aced both parts first time. I didnt have many lessons either tho shhhhhhh dont tell anyone but I did drive occasionally  . Since having my licence I never really use public transport much, but the other month went to the nec to the classic car show with my uncle, he picked me up but I came back by P/T and my uncle was back in lincoln before i was home. He had to travel 90 miles, me 15 miles. 2 and a half hours of my life lost. Get a licence whilst you can.

I reckon that not driving will be a big disadvantage and, as"poweredbypies" said, I'd try and get at least a car licence.
I have no great love of cars and vans - they're just things that cost money to maintain and run and keep them legal as far as I'm concerned, but unless you work within cycling distance (in all weathers) and never need to carry any tools or materials they're pretty much essential.

Just think of even the most basic job that you might do around the house or garden and then of what tools and materials you need to do that job. Too many to easily transport on a bike, in most cases (this includes maintaining and repairing bikes too).

Pass your test and get a van - far more useful than a car and once you have one you'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

I have a motorbike, but Yoga instructor I don't need a car, and i have a venue 2 mins away, and others a short train journey away. I have always managed int he past. But yes if i'm going to transport stock, goods a vehicle is a must.

I THINK IT JUST HAVING THE GUTS TO SAY STOP LOOKING IN THE JOB CENTER AND GIVING IT A GO

Any idea's I have must be cheap to start up..............there is already a mobile bike man.
