anyone posted a full bike to france before ?

what does it cost ?

it's non-bike related so bear with me........... :roll:

i put my old slotcars up on ebay as a buy-it-now and some french guy has bought it (even though it clearly stated uk only) now it'll not weigh any more than a full bike box and i'd like to use parcle force but they have a stupid Volumetric weight thing on their web page and it's saying that my 100 cm x 100 cm x 70 cm weighs 117 kgs and will cost £173 to post :shock: :shock:


is that right or is it just me being really tired ?

I've just flogged a bike on ebay and the s~#thead is from slovenia! I've got a quote for £150 to post and insured to the value sold so he either pays or doesnt get it! Huge frustration but i've no idea how to get round it! I'm going to ring Ebay in the morning to find out where i stand as a seller!
