Might not be every ones thing but I love making models, anything from aircraft to cars to well anything really.

This is 1/25th scale so it's pretty big.

I dont make models, i have neither the patience or skill, and i do think there is a lot of skill, especially in creating the finer details, but do enjoy looking at them. Fond memories of staring in awe at some of the model ships in the Maritime museum when i was a kid.

Visited one museum some years ago, spotted a US Battleship, it must have been at least 4 feet long, the most detailed ship I'd ever seen, a few years on I made the same ship but in a smaller scale, this is still big though.

Always wanted the Saturn V kit as a boy. Apparently still available………
Built every space rocket/thing going as well as stuff like the Shuttle, yes the Airfix Saturn V is available again.

This was my last NASA build.....

Made a few models in my time, the largest aeroplane model though was an Antonov for the Bond film “Die another day”
It was huge, we made a 1/24th full model that had a wingspan over 3m and a 1/6th full fuselage model for close-ups, that was bonkers long something like 11m I think?
Here’s some stills; D0BB892A-AF59-4462-90E5-1BF142D2CE42.jpeg C1D2B8B3-F5BA-4A2E-89E7-B8C72020B32C.jpeg 562E50AC-64F2-4CBE-9228-3CEA232C66A3.jpeg

How big was the glider?
For Band of Brothers? Can’t remember but it was 1/12th, so was the Dakota

Here’s some more of the Antonov and the biggest model I was ever involved with, Hogwarts castle. At 1/32nd scale it was bloody huge! 24A62810-418A-494D-9B6C-39C0969C60B9.jpeg DE7B57A1-7088-4C1E-BAA3-C10D77C1536D.jpeg 7CD709A2-11E4-4C38-8F21-5995644B4EE3.jpeg 6CFF2CFD-23B8-42AE-9415-F377E0CDE1BE.jpeg
