Chassis paint is on. After a lot of fussing with 5 coats on with a sponge brush i got sick of trying to hit all the nooks and crannies of the frame I got the compressor out and sprayed the thing. I was told the first batch of GS750s had brush painted frames because Suzuki were so hard up they didn't want to waste paint, so I went with that. Then I realised its not a Ducati Monster where the frame is part of the show - this bike's frame has very functional welding and there are gobs of weld in various places that were never ground down.
Probably one of the last weather windows to do this kind of thing so if its minging or lumpy it will be back to 1200 wet n dry and the sponge brush to touch up.
