milko, its a hazy memory but I remember thinking it was a harder corner one year, thankfully I made the turn but it was a bit of carnage all around, didnt it also have land rover deep tracks on the way down and if you got into the wrong one you were doomed!

Yes I think so. We spent so long trying to get the forest parts rideable that I think often we forgot about the fire roads!

I think I rode in 93/94/95 ish, not sure of the exact years. But it was while I was at uni.

OK, thread rejuvenation time again!

I did another google search and this came up. I may be driving through the area this week, I may get my bike out and have a look. I reckon I can find the 1st 'stage' that they sorted out the seeding on. And then maybe try the Cracow Slack.

It's amazing how things before t'interweb fade from memory...
