Hi All,
I've just put up an FS thread so figured I'd introduce myself and my bike. Back in the late 90's i was one of the kids running round on xc bikes (atx890) with 4 inch travel forks (z1's ofc...), I lived on my bike.....then the inevitable happened, booze and it's associates. Roll on to 2009ish and I picked up an LTS-DH which proved too fragile to keep (was my dream bike though), briefly had a Kona Scab, then a Kona Stuff, built it up how I would have back in the 90's and then barely used it so sold it on, something I regret to this day. So what brings me here? Well, I got talking to a guy at work and it turns out he used to ride as well, we started reminiscing about old bikes and I landed here, that was a few months ago. I've been trying to avoid the place as I knew the inevitable would happen and...well....here we are. I was a little torn between going the retro route or the modern route and ended up going modern with this:
Only bought last weekend and I haven't even had a chance to ride it yet but the upgrade bug has already returned....
Anyway, great forum, some lovely bikes here so I guess I'll hang around
