Been thinking about this one for a while - a road bike day out around the Cambridgeshire flat lands

Undulating quiet roads, plenty of scenery and pretty villages.

a fairly relaxed ride, no roadie whippets striking out on their own

open to all

a sunday fairly soon. So, just need your thoughts espesh after my 'short' gated ride...

Be honest with you, I havent been out on a road bike since 1997!

Just doesnt float my boat anymore, especially having a close friend killed by an idiotic motorist.

Off road, fine, on road, not fine.

I will only come if there are gates! My road bike is a modern POS. I will ride 100yds behind the group if needed. if anyone asks if I am with you I will deny it.

August 1st good for me. Have had to promise to be back earlier this time. How about meet at 10 for 10:30am start. Butt faffing time included. Will be on a modern POS though.
