Just checked out the above web site, and nearly fell off my chair at teh price ! $149 for the "basic" package..............

FWIW, I've been running the A2Z on ny 97 Zaskar with a Hope M4/tech set up for 7 or 8 months.
The A2Z does exactly what you expect for around £25........Assuming your frame can accept it.

But, do you really need a disc brake on the rear ? In summer most likely no.perhaps in the wet and muddy winter.

My Zaskar's weight has really chubbed up since fitting the Hopes as opposed to the XTR V's that it had before. Current weight is 12.5Kg (27LBs).I guess the WTB velociraptor tyres don't help, but much of this weight is due to the disc brakes and disc rotors.

So, in short fit a disc to the front and keep a V on the rear. Clearly I will not be doing that , having forked out for the hopes. :x

Heh, there's a story there...

So, I was removing the v-brakes from my Trek Y3 one day. Blooming bolt wouldn't come out of one of the rear ones. Decided to drill it out... made a hash of it. Now really need someone to drill it out *properly* and stick a Helicoil in it so that I can run ANY brakes at the rear!

Yeah, I've seen the Brake Therapy stuff, too dear I'm afraid, plus I'm not convinced that the shape of my drop outs on the inside would accommodate it, whereas there's a little more wiggle room with the DDG setup, because it sits on the outside.
