A video I made in about 1990 (I think)

Stumbled across an old VHS we made one weekend up in Jedburgh.

I was in the Scouts and for a project, we borrowed a video camera from our local library to go and film some 'Mountain biking'.

It's all very (very) tame by today's standards. Even by 1990 standards actually, but it might be of interest to some people.

I had a Saracen Tuff Trax and my next door neighbour had the Muddy Fox Courier Comp.

As you can see, we had no idea what we doing on either the bikes or the filiming but it might interest some of you for the nostalgia alone.

For me, it's more about seeing what I looked like when i still had hair.

Splendid! Not quite Dan Atherton sending it down the Hardline -- mountain biking has moved on a fair bit in the intervening years.

The vid highlights the inviolable link between Mountain biking and sheep though.

I saw the guy with the Muddy Fox at the weekend - I gave him a copy of the DVD - and not long after this, his bike was nicked.

As was mine.
