Well, that didn't really work. Here are some pictures as she stands now. I know quite a few people will object to the bars, but what can I say, I'm a big bloke and like wide risers, so there.

In all seriousness, I ride the bike to work on a daily basis and simply found the straight bars too low and uncomfortable, plus I don't like the look of stems with lots of rise- worse than riser bars IMHO.

The frame is tatty in places, but I have to remember it is just my commuter! The only thing I would now change is the front mech for an XTR one, but they seem to be hens teeth in bottom pull and the STX matches the colour of the cranks, so I might leave it.
