91 Kona Custom

Just got this built up to try, still trawling for parts for it though, period chainset on the way, Fork up hanger ordered (although whats the vies on the downhanger? Needs some lighter (Greener) Canti's and a Race Face or similar Green Bar If I can find one, based on a Fire Mountain/Lavadome/Cindercone frame.
Colour is near enough Yo Grello, Fluorescent Sulphur Yellow with a hint of green, always feel the cable routing is tricky on Kona's.
The Suntour 8 speed XC shifters are a revelation and very light.

Made up

Made up the model as thats the paint colour thought it followed on from the Kona volcanic themes, Fire and Brimstone etc! Has folks guessing anyway

That looks very nice, Love the green and yellow . My Conquest is finished in Sulphur yellow also and I cant get a picture taken that resembles its actual colour :roll:

Is this a paint or powdercoat finish ?

I really like it, looks really great, but can I just say that I don't like the chain. Sorry to criticise a small point

What it the base frame then?

Some really different builds on here recently - very inspiring.

Frame

Base frame is a 91 Cindercone/lavadome/fire mountain etc I prefer the chain, as they don't rust and rarely snap, unlike Shimano or Sram, but will swap for the silver version shortly.
I the flesh the colour is sort of 70 percent yellow 30 percent green.
