Thanks Neil, cheers Shaun, the milremo screams 1970s to me, turbo 1980s. Deffo swapping chainset the TA one is not pleasing to my eye.

I guess you know the TA chainset has its own crank remover, apologies if you did. Which Apex chainset have you got? The cheaper ones have a strange chainline which might be a problem with your short rear end

I know the stronglight chainsets were weird thought they might of standardised them by time they made this one, the apex came with my SBDU so hopefully will work, think it's the one with the smaller bcd, got a campag one as well if it doesn't work out.

Off the top of my head Campag is 22mm, TA 23mm and Stronglight 23.35mm
