Hi Retro and respected Gurus (ohhhmmmm......)

Here some pics concerning my last weird thing:

Yeah Jo, this is a 4th chainring adaptator, and at this time I can't identify the right threaded cog to fit.

This threaded cog must have a 49 mm (around) inner diameter

Anybody can help me??

Wich brand, type or model??

:?: :?: :?: :?:

This doesn't help you I'm afraid, but years ago I remember seeing a bike in Halfrauds or somesuch with 4 chainrings on it...very bizarre!! Anyone remember what it was?

This is very bizarre, I'm agree.

This can be a cool idea for an old 6 speeds road cogset, fitted on MTB wheel.

This also can be a great device to keep the chain on the crankset on rough trails.

At this time this delicious thing shares my weird and really ultra cool you've-never-seen-one-before shelf  , near a still in a bag Hite Rite device.

How would you shift? With a non index front shifter?

You've got it - thumb shifters coped fine with this. They were pretty popular in the early 90s with people riding in Moab. The ultra low gearing that could be achieved was just the thing for some of the steeper pitches on Slickrock.

Just imagine:

18 teeth granny with 32 rear cog

You must have a very good balanced ride, at 0.000001mph
