2007 clockwork with custom F8 forks, UPDATED pics Page 4

Ok, so here's some pics of parts... The build's not far off finished. Its a 2007 reissue/ltd ed clockwork, 21". Ive gone for a retro/modern feel, no really old bits, but some old school flavour.

No canti mounts so gotta have a disc (avid bb7), nos 960 mech

Lovely NOS shimano SX BMX pedals (9/16 axle)

New mavic rims on new xt hubs. Handbuilt, silver rims/nips and straight thick spokes!

Minty mint RC36 Evos fettled to perfection by Tim

NOS Xray shifters, Avid levers, NOS Tioga alchemy stem, Azonic riser

NOS vetta saddle, new control tech post

Sugino xd600 26/26/48 non compact crank , m960 mech

Other spec includes Reissue porcs, raceface silver headset, un52 BB. All new.

Its currently running a massive azonic riser, it so big it feels like an old set of 80's mtb bars or even an old renthal crosser bar...

Nice - and my size!

Do those forks ride ok on it? Thought the reissue had geometry for modern forks. I know my new(ish) forks are a good 3-4 cm taller than my rc36's

Not ridden it yet... Ill let you know... Im more concerned about the bar/stem combo!!!
