A couple of years ago I failed at building a beautiful 2001 Stinky Six. Recently I lucked upon another one in great shape. Also a great shape Manitou Dorado. Here goes my second attempt.

Forever making funny noises whilst drooling in bike shop having sat on one.

£2500k for stinky seemed loads back in teenage years even with a well paid job back then on the side.

Fork seems overkill for the frame...

Dorados can be lowered to 180mm would suit as these frames are chunks to cope with it.

Well it seems the op is getting on riding it than worrying.

Either that or he's diedat the fate of a slightly longer fork.

Had to sell frame and fork when a good deal on another Chromag Rootdown popped up...
