Hi chaps, im selling my lovely proflex 857 with the carbon swingarm.as a complete bike @ 150 quid or as frame only for 80.
Spec
Frame
proflex 857, easton custom alloy with carbon swingarm, no cracks or dents, all bushings are slop free and butter smooth.
Rear shock,
noleen.perfect as far as i can tell.
Forks.
Marzochi dh3,s with air spring conversion.good working order, been repainted (badly)red anodized under the paint tho.
Front wheel.
Mavic crossride,with matching hub, scruffy but works beautifully, super smooth and straight..panaracer smoke tyre,great tread but some cracking just starting.
Rear wheel.
Mavic 517 rim, xt hub. 8 speed block.again scruffy but works perfectly,wtb velociraptor tyre,again great tread but some slight cracking.

Brakes
Xt v brakes,fantastic.
Levers
Xt combo left, stx rc combo right.good working order but screen missing.( its here somewhere)
Bars, unknown risers,zoom stem 1/18 th ahead.
Front mech xt.no issues
Rear mech xt.no issues
Seat post
Kalloy 27.2
Seat
Wtb speed v, very good order
Cranks
Coda, could use a new middle chainring.
Pedals
Wellgo alloy platforms.

Its a lovely riding bike, but ive got four bikes now and i really want to do a disc conversion on my cannondale.i know its missing the gervin forks, but, from what ive heard, thats not such a bad thing ride wise.

so there you have it, a well specced high end retro full susser for the price of a halffords shitebike, delivered to your door.

OR ill swap it for a decent disc brake set up and wheels
OR OR ill swap frame for frame for a decent steel hardtail 18" or so, kona or a rockhopper, that manner of thing.
options galore!!

if wanting to collect, im up in weardale, durham. we could to hamsterley forest for a ride and deal afterwards, its a win win i tells yer!

They are DH3 Marzocchis,an excellent fork.Nice bike for the money....

its a very very nice bike for the money

im only selling this cos ive fallan madly in love with my cannondale, im always suprised that pre k2 proflexs dont get the love they deserve

Its defo a large, ive just noticed the frame decal.

Sunday night bump, will swap for a nice 18" frame with disc mounts.
